Norden was premiered in early 2020 in Berlin and subsequently produced by Inshorefilms during the Covid summer of 2020. The piece is based on the slam poem Nordtext by Mona Harry as well as the recorded voice of sopranist Marcia Lemke-Kern reciting Harry’s poem. Norden was commissioned by Duo Lux Nova (Jorge Paz, guitar and Lydia Schmidl, accordion) and performed by Marcia Lemke-Kern, Duo Lux Nova and Georg Hajdu (electronics).
