w-burg_crossing is the result of a two-year project connecting Brooklyn-Williamsburg with Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg which we documented here: http://w-burg.com.
This piece premiered on June 9, 2018 at the IBA Dock in Hamburg Veddel by Kristian Sievers (electric guitar), Lin Chen (percussion) and Georg Hajdu (electronics). It featured sounds and video of the two neighborhoods whose names sound so similar, yet are also very distinct.
